At Millbank and Bell, Lamb & Joynson we believe in the power of community support. Each month we extend our hands to the Runcorn and District Foodbank recognising the pressing needs within our community and inviting our staff to join us in making a difference.
The weekly statistics speak volumes about the impact of community support. This week alone, the Foodbank received 447.95Kg of food through donations, providing essential supplies to distribution centres. However, the demand remains high, with an outgoing difference of 560.40Kg. Donations of tinned meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, instant soup, rice puddings, custard, long-life milk, coffee, fruit juice, and toothpaste are crucial to ensuring the well-being of those in need.
While food donations are invaluable, the Foodbank also encourages financial support. Running the foodbank costs over £18,000 per year, covering expenses such as food and people insurance, warehouse and office rates, staff and administration costs, and internet access for the warehouse and seven distribution centers.

As we come together to support the Runcorn and District Foodbank, let us remember the power of unity in helping those facing difficult choices in our community. Millbank along with Bell, Lamb & Joynson, extend their call to action, urging staff and community members alike to contribute in any way they can. Your generosity ensures that the Foodbank remains a lifeline for those in need. Thank you for being the difference in someone's life today.
