Millbank staff have been spreading Christmas cheer in our local community this December with a variety of activities and initiatives. Take a look at what we got up to…
Well done to our generous staff members who helped to bring some joy to poorly children at Halton Hospital and those with special needs at Brookfields School in Widnes by donating toys and games!
Our staff also donated tinned food and toiletries for those less fortunate. This was in aid of Creative Support, a non-profit organisation delivering help to the most vulnerable members of society, from those with physical, mental or learning disabilities, to the homeless and disadvantaged.
Thank you to our staff members who responded so generously to this appeal.
It was a pleasure for Millbank staff to return for another Christmas visit to Beechcroft Care Home for a second year. We gave each resident a gift and card, as well as a cup of tea and a chat at what can be a lonely time of year for many. Thank you for having us!
We supported Save the Children on December 13th with Christmas Jumper Day in the Millbank office, collecting donations for the charity in exchange for wearing our festive knitwear. We also enjoyed some delicious mince pies with cream in our kitchen.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
