On Sunday 8th April 2018, Recruitment Consultant Ben Usher ran the Paris Marathon in aid of the charity Prostate Cancer UK.

Aside from recently beating all of his colleagues in our Sport Relief Planking Contest, Ben is also a keen runner, having completed seven marathons previously. In recent years he has run for Prostate Cancer UK, after a family friend was diagnosed.

Ben, who also is also running the Liverpool marathon in May, crossed off a big personal goal with this run.

“I’ve always wanted to run a marathon abroad so I was really excited to get a place in Paris”, he said.

Ben was able to beat his personal best, recording a time of 4 hours, 6 minutes and 37 seconds.

Ben has had over £500 pledged already.
