A new deal has been secured between Silverstone and Formula 1 to keep the British GP at the iconic track for another 5 years.
There was some doubt that the British Grand Prix would remain at Silverstone after this weekend’s race, but after 2 years of negotiations, a new deal was finally struck on Tuesday 9th July.
Silverstone Circuit was the site of the first Grand Prix in 1950 and through many modifications over the years remains one of the fastest and most exciting tracks in F1.
