BGEN, a leading UK engineering specialist, has strengthened its partnership with petrochemical giant INEOS O&P UK through a significant five-year contract agreement. The deal builds upon their successful collaboration dating back to 2018 and focuses on enhancing plant efficiency at INEOS's Grangemouth facility in Stirlingshire.

The comprehensive contract will see BGEN deliver advanced engineering solutions across electrical and instrumentation services, further cementing its position as a multi-disciplined services contractor. Work has already begun at INEOS O&P UK's expansive 1700-acre site, encompassing installation support, maintenance operations, inspection protocols, testing procedures, and commissioning services.

Beyond direct engineering work, BGEN's scope includes the provision of materials and equipment, alongside management of various support functions and coordination of nominated sub-contractors as project demands require.

We have a proven track record in advanced manufacturing and this experience enables us to deliver intelligent solutions to support the complex demands of the plant

says Paul Carvill, Managing Director at BGEN. "We look forward to delivering tailored services for INEOS O&P UK and contributing to the success of its operations at Grangemouth."

The contract award comes as BGEN's Scottish operation, established in Grangemouth in 2000, continues to thrive. Now employing 60 people, the division has developed deep expertise in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation services. This specialised knowledge serves diverse sectors including energy, FMCG, heavy industry, pharmaceutical, and utilities.

The extended partnership with INEOS O&P UK marks another milestone in BGEN's growth story and reinforces its position as a trusted provider of complex engineering solutions for the petrochemical industry.
