Aston Martin are marking 70 years since they first raced at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the luxury automotive brand has brought some special cars to celebrate.
The central feature of this year’s festival celebrates the Le Mans winning DBR1 with a jaw-dropping 30-metre-tall monument, in a design created by Gerry Judah.

Since the festival serves as a gathering of motorsport enthusiasts each year, it’s also the perfect place for Aston Martin to show off its latest cars in action.
This year, the famous Goodwood hill climb sees the debut of some of Aston Martin’s “firsts” – Their first all-electric vehicle, the Rapide E, and their first SUV, the DBX, in public and driven “in anger”.
The Rapide E boasts more torque than any other Aston Martin, and is limited to just 155 cars.

Meanwhile, the DBX, which will be fully unveiled in December, made its maiden trip up the Goodwood hill course today.
To cap off a truly special 70th anniversary, Aston Martin’s Q bespoke styling division created six special Vantages, each representing a famous Aston Martin race car.
